About the founder
Natasha Pinol, M.A., PMP, is the founder and principal of NRP Communications LLC. She brings 20 years of senior communications leadership from NASA, Science, the World Bank, and ABC News.
The Story Behind the Work
Long before my career began, my grandfather, Jacques Danlos, published newspapers and art journals in Belgium during the war years. He preserved Flemish painters and regional historians when their cultural identity was under threat. He believed that what goes undocumented is lost. I carried that belief forward at NASA, where I authored the communications framework for the James Webb Space Telescope Program, and at Science, where I translated discoveries into language that could reach the people who needed them most. Today, I bring that same conviction to organizations whose work deserves to be heard.
Experience
At NASA, Natasha played a central role in communications project management for the James Webb Space Telescope Program, authored the JWST Communications Plan signed by seven agencies across three continents, and coordinated integrated communications planning across international partners and federal agencies.
Her work on the James Webb Space Telescope Program earned her the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal, NASA’s highest honor for nonfederal employees. She began her career in network news at ABC News, later supporting executive communications and media engagements with 60 Minutes, The New York Times, and major international outlets. At AAAS/Science, she managed relationships with Congressional offices, federal agencies, and global media, and provided strategic communications support for World Bank initiatives.
Credentials
She is a certified Project Management Professional and a member of the Public Relations Society of America. In January 2026, she earned the AI Business Strategy certification from Johns Hopkins University, adding expertise in AI governance, vendor strategy, and IT modernization.
WHAT SHE DOES
Through NRP Communications, Natasha helps organizations turn complexity into clarity and ideas into action.
